Congratulations are in order for our incredibly talented and hard-working students! AppTV - including many pieces produced as a part of AWN, WASU FM, The Appalachian, and The Peel have all recently been announced as finalists for many national awards, recognizing the best of the best in college media. Both our organizations and our students have been selected as finalists for this year's Pacemaker Award from the Associated Collegiate Press, NSMC Production Awards from College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI), and Pinnacle Awards from the College Media Association.
The Pacemaker and Pinnacle winners will be announced on October 18 at the Fall National College Media Convention in Washington DC, and the NSMC Production winners will be announced October 22-25 at the CBI convention in Denver, CO. We continue to be impressed by what our students accomplish and are grateful for their contributions to our department and university at large.
Join us in congratulating these incredible students!
