Documenting Dutch Culture

Program Dates: June 3 - June 24, 2024

Documenting Dutch Culture will provide a historical and intercultural communication context in which today’s students can explore their contemporary understanding of Northern European Culture through documentary and travel photography. Through readings, photo critiques, class discussions, and visits to points of interest in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague, students will be able to understand the impact of Dutch Culture on the rest of the world. The program starts at Schiphol Airport, where students will fly in with the program leaders from Charlotte Douglas Airport. The students will also fly back to the Charlotte Douglas Airport with the program leader.
