Congratulations to Dr. Volha Kananovich, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication!
Dr. Kananovich was recognized by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication as the 2025 Second Place winner of the Linda Shockley Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Named in honor of the former managing director of the Dow Jones News Fund for her commitment to advancing the careers of young professionals, the award recognizes innovative approaches to teaching editing skills.
Dr. Kananovich received the award at the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication Conference in San Francisco a few days ago.
